Job Description
As a designer at Trainline, you will be embedded in a cross-functional team, working on trainline’s advanced agent sales platform and internal configuration system. You will influence the end-to-end design process, wear design principles, work with our design system, and consistently ship designs. You’ll collaborate closely with various teams, dive into data, and contribute to workshops to enhance our product suite. Your role involves crafting UX designs, seeking user feedback, and working with developers to elevate critical features.
Requirements
- Around 2+ years of commercial UX design experience, preferably in a product-focused tech company
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to structure information effectively for users
- Proficiency in defining navigation structures, hierarchies, card sorting, labeling, and analytical skills
- Comfortable with problem-solving and finding elegant solutions through mock-ups and prototypes
- Familiarity with the latest web design trends and IA patterns
- Ability to collaborate effectively with a team of developers and articulate design decisions clearly
- Proficiency in Figma
- Working knowledge of APIs is advantageous
