Job Description:
We are looking for local Talented Illustrators with Strong Drawing Skills. This role involves crafting artistic curricula and creating engaging, educational artwork that can be used by instructors in an afterschool setting, nationwide. If you are a skilled illustrator who loves to share knowledge and inspire others, we want to hear from you!
Responsibilities:
- Work with a team to develop different styles of drawings and curriculum.
- Work closely with the team to ensure educational relevance and artistic quality.
- Adapt artistic style to suit various educational themes and age groups.
- Ensure timely delivery of artwork.
- Demonstrate resilience and receptiveness to constructive feedback.
Requirements:
- At least 3 years of formal training in the Visual Arts or a closely related field, or equivalent professional experience in the arts.
- Demonstrable experience and proficiency in a range of artistic techniques and mediums.
- A portfolio showcasing a strong body of work that reflects both technical drawing skill and creative vision.
- Strong drawing skills with the ability to create diverse artistic styles.
- Experience teaching art, as a Young Rembrandts instructor is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with educators and our creative team.
- Dedication to grasping the essence of our primary mission and its influence on children’s learning and development.
