This is a song I composed and arranged. The lyrics tell a story of someone reminiscing a teenage penfriend from whom they were unwillingly separated, reliving the feelings of the time, and contemplating the time that has passed. The song was arranged using Logic stock software instruments, except the bass guitar, which is a third-party vst. The vocals were generated using an Ace Studio licence-free A.I. singer. MARCIE I love you Marcie. I want to make you come To Glastonbury. I want to be with you; I want to sleep with you; I want to play football with the children; I’ll call it 'soccer' just for you, Just for you. I saw you in a dream That we were just fourteen, They told me it’s obscene; But then somehow we met And you got very wet In England's summer rain. I love you Marcie. I want to get you off This mortal coil. We'll spend one glorious day Just rolling in the hay, In a world of our invention With nothing standing in our way. What do you say? I saw you in a dream That we were just fourteen, They told me it’s obscene. Between the summer sheets The sun shone warmly down And we were never found. Reluctantly I wake upon a murky lake; Alas your visage fades Into the gentle waves, Into the gentle waves. I want to run with you through our forbidden land, Without time or destination, Just blue skies and golden sand. Take my hand! I love you Marcie. music song arrangement logic
